Troubleshooting
Find the message you see, read the cause and apply the fix.

SFTP connections require a managed xEvolve Agent | The connection has no agent. Edit it, select an installed agent and test again. The same applies to FTP, FTPS, SMB and NFS. |
The agent does not register and the API answers workspace_not_ready | XEVOLVE_API_URL points at api.xevolve.io. Use your workspace address https://<workspace>.xevolve.io. |
| Test agent is green but there is no heartbeat | Test agent does not check the secret. Compare AGENT_SECRET and XEVOLVE_API_TOKEN with the secret from the guide. If you lost it, create a new agent. |
The agent deploy guide shows <agent-secret> | The secret is shown once when the agent is created. Create a new agent to get a new secret. |
403 API key missing required scope | Add the scope named in the message. Create a new key; scopes of an existing key cannot grow. |
| 403 when creating a key | A key can only grant scopes it holds. Use a console session or a key that holds every scope you are asking for. |
| An upload is refused with 422 | The scan blocked the file. Check the audit log for the scan details. |
| A share link answers 410 | The link expired or reached its download limit. Create a new link. |
Browsing an SFTP folder shows a doubled path such as /upload/upload | The connection has both a path and a base path. Keep one of them. |
| A partner cannot import a key made in xEvolve | GnuPG does not read the OpenPGP v6 format. Create the key with gpg and import it into xEvolve. |
| A webhook stopped receiving events | A failed delivery is counted and is not retried. Fix the receiver and send a test event. |
